Old Business: Lee mentioned that we should have 2 Monitors per shift during the busy months. If you are interested in becoming a Monitor, please contact Terry Griffith. Please see Norm Muzzy, Education & Training Coordinator, if you are interested in teaching a course at the club. See Russ Wagner or Larry Boos if you would like to assist with computer activities at the club. A Suggestion Box is available at the Monitor Desk, please include your name so we can discuss your idea with you. There was no other Old Business from the floor.
New Business: Lee reviewed updates for the following areas:
Lee reviewed the 2025 dues renewal process which will begin on January 1, 2025. The Board approved a $10 late fee for dues paid from February 1 through December 31, 2025. Dues will remain at $35/year; $20 locker fee.
Lee reminded members that 24 club visits are required to retain a locker for 2025. Your club visit count is displayed on the monitor when you swipe in at the club. An email was sent to those members with less than 24 visits to remind them of this requirement.
A Holiday Cookie Exchange is being planned for the Dec. 13, 2025 General Meeting. More information to follow.
Questions/comments from the floor included a request to confirm if grinding will be conducted inside or outside the shop area. A member asked if there had been any changes to the inventory of metal due to cost savings. Lee responded that no changes have been made at this time, however, special orders may take longer as we are consolidating orders to save on the delivery cost. A member pointed out that the main electrical fuse panels have been open in the Annex area which attracts dirt and dust. This will be added to the Opening Monitor Checklist to ensure the panels are closed to protect the switches.
There was no other New Business from the floor.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 11:25am by Rod Flack #1472, seconded by Tim ‘Sarge’ Raddatz #2656 – all were in favor.
