Old Business: Lee mentioned that we should have 2 Monitors per shift during the busy months. If you are interested in becoming a Monitor, please contact Terry Griffith. See Russ Wagner or Larry Boos if you would like to assist with computer activities at the club. A member made a suggestion to place a fire extinguisher in the welding work area which will be completed. Please use the Suggestion Box and include your name so we can contact you about your idea. There was no other Old Business from the floor.

New Business: Lee reviewed updates for the following areas:

  • Paint Booth protective wall coating has been done; booth looks great, let us keep it this way!
  • Software for 3-Axis Milling machine has been purchased.
  • Welding area – aluminum spooling working well; Norm Muzzy is teaching Welding classes (MIG, TIG, Brazing).
  • 2-Axis & 3-Axis Milling machines repaired; software updated.
  • Upgrades and improvements in the Burning area have saved gas consumption costs.
  • The work Order form has been revised to separate ‘minor’ repairs from ‘major repairs/fabrication’ which will have a $20 shop fee minimum to cover club costs.
  • Dues renewal for 2025 will begin on January 1 - $35 dues: $20 locker (no change). Members will receive an email with more details about how to pay their dues (online or in the club). A $2 processing fee will be a voluntary option for only the online payment process which we will try this year. A $10 late fee will be assessed for dues paid from February 1 – December 31 to encourage payment in January.
  • Reminder that 24 club visits are needed to retain a locker for 2025.
  • The club will be closed on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) – open on January 1 for dues renewals.
  • The Social Committee and members who baked a dessert were thanked for the Holiday Sweet Treat Party following our meeting today. The holiday party was a great success!

There was no other New Business from the floor.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 11:15am by Rod Flack #1472, seconded by Terry Griffith #1675 – all were in favor.
