Meeting called to order 11:00 a.m. by President Lee Schwartz. Present: Rod Flack, Mike Czaiko, Joe Faraone, Patti Czaiko, Larry Mann, Pat Frantz, Sarge Raddatz. Absent: Wendi Boos.
Approval of Minutes: Rod made a motion, seconded by Sarge to approve the January 2, 2026, minutes - all were in favor.
Treasurer’s Report: Mike reviewed the club’s financial status in the checking and savings accounts.
General Items from Lee: Lee reported that the Blaze machine was recently sold for $1200. Rod, Sarge, and Ken Russell were thanked for their help with this sale.
Status of Board Nominations: As of today, the Treasurer and Asst. Treasurer positions remain without nominations. Kasey Huhta, Rec Center Manager, will discuss options at the Gen. Meeting on Feb. 12th if these positions are not filled.
Rod, Pat, and Mike will represent the club at the Newcomer Event on Feb. 11 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at Palm Ridge.
Lee reported that the club had a participation rate of 54% at the end of January. On average, 63 members have attended our General Meetings over the past year.
The Rec Center will begin charging $60 for 60 cups of coffee at General Meetings. A discussion took place and a roll call vote was taken: Mike, Patti and Joe voted to spend this money for coffee; Rod, Pat, Sarge, and Larry declined this proposal. The motion to spend this money was voted down. It was agreed that the club would furnish our own coffee for meetings.
The need for a motion detector light in the alley behind the building was discussed. Rod and Sarge will discuss this with the Rec Center.
Lee discussed the need to reorganize the tank farm located outside the side door to the club.
